UPDATE ON HOUSING (JUST NEED 2k MORE)

STATUS UPDATE Still need 1K

PLEASE LET ME ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT THE 4K THAT WAS RAISED BACK IN APRIL.

I able to pay 3 months rent and any late fees owed. While still waiting to get on the housing list and keep my internet running so I can keep touch with various charities and organization.

Paid my duke energy bill at the time ( I since then used a medical waiver to keep it connected).

Bought groceries and personal care items that can not be purchased with food stamp plus delivery fees (no car)

I was able to get some of benefits reinstated such as SNAP.

I was able to get a case worker through Medicaid who is helping me get assistance at home.

SSI is still being evaluate it and I’m being assisted by a lawyer’s office with that.

With all that said, I need to raise 1K

Section 8 in Louisville is not accepting anyone at this time. New Albany and Jeffersonville will be reopening their Wait List some time this month. Meaning I have to try to keep my apt for another 2 months and keep my internet phone services active..Plus cover application fees for a new place.

The Urban league said they would me assist getting me a new place once I have been approved for new one that will fit my disability.

Plus I’m still searching for work from home. If any of you know of anything please let me know., I have to come up with 1K by the 10th of this month in order to keep my place and keep my internet on.

Yes, I have reached out to all the local resources who are either overwhelmed or have a longer wait list. Also I’ve been told that because I don’t have children and I’m not 55 or older yet. But I’m not opposed to reaching out to anyone For assistance at this point. I would just hate for the third time, restart my life because I had to get rid of all my belongings again. Any amount would be greatly appreciated .
