While we initially started this fund to support all of our employees that were severely impacted by the devastating floods of Hurricane Harvey, we now have several employees that have been impacted by Hurricane Irma’s storm surges.
These natural disasters have caused many of our employees to lose power, their cars and, most importantly, their homes to the rising flood waters.
In an effort to help our own, we have created a GoFundMe fundraiser event to provide financial assistance directly to the employees that have been impacted by these storms. If you would like to make a donation, Severn Trent will match it at a 2:1 ratio. All of the money raised, including the Company match, will be distributed directly to all impacted employees (less the associated GoFundMe.com 5% fee and 30 cents handling for each donation).
Please know that your support will not only be greatly appreciated, but you also will be helping those that are near and dear to the Severn Trent team.
