STANS Walkathon .. to New York - May 18th-31st

Due to the ongoing restrictions imposed as a result of COVID-19, the PTA @ St Andrew’s National School, Lucan, Co Dublin (STANS)  is unable to undertake it’s usual fundraising activities. We are however still very keen to provide our ongoing  support to the school & to continue to assist our children’s quality of learning within the school.

There is an ongoing need to replace old technology with new. Two years ago we purchased some iPads for the school. Now we would like to acquire some more. The target is 8.

So, we are holding a Walkathon .. or a sponsored walk.

WE ARE PROPOSING THAT COLLECTIVELY AND VIRTUALLY THAT WE WALK TO CYPRUS .. OR BETTER STILL, NEW YORK!

15k walked by each school family will get us to Cyprus .. but 20k walked will get us all to New York .. and a week in which to achieve it!

 1k=€1 donation ... or more ... or less .. the choice is entirely yours.

All kids, all parents, uncles, aunts, grandparents .. let’s get out .. walk some socially distanced together or virtually apart. Make it fun & and raise some much needed funds.

We are suggesting the kids do it in fancy dress .. their favourite cartoon or tv character perhaps .. or whatever you have in your dressing up drawer!

15k walked will nett the school 8 iPads - 20k, will get 10!!
