STA Orndorff Legacy End of Year Fund Drive
For 12 years the Sheltowee Trace Association, with the help of our members and friends has worked to protect, preserve and promote the Sheltowee Trace National Recreation Trail. Working with the Trace's land managers, the Big South Fork NRRA, the Daniel Boone National Forest, Kentucky State Parks and individual land owners that host the Trace, we continue to improve access to the Trace and host programs that bring children, youth and families to the Trace.
While we focus each day on trail maintenance, trail reroutes, and developing ways to share the amazing experience of the Trace, we also continue to look to the distant horizon and prepare for the years ahead.
On Giving Tuesday, we begin our focused year end drive, seeking donations to our long-term funding source, the Orndorff Legacy Fund. This year our goal is $5,000.00. A generous donor has pledged to match, dollar for dollar up to $5,000.00. So, your contribution will double in value.
The STA family, our friends in the outdoor community have been amazing. Their support over the last 12 years has been crucial to our success. Will you join them and make a donation today? Give what you are able. A few dollars or a thousand. When we come together, we can do incredible things for the Trace.
I hope you will join me today and support the Orndorff Legacy Fund with your gift. Thanks in advance for your contribution to the STA Legacy Fund.
