ST CLARES HOSPITAL PENSIONERS

As many of you have probably heard, the former 1100+ pensioners of the former ST. CLARES HOSPITAL of Schenectady, NY recently, and without forewarning, received devastating news about our retirement. Our pension plan was abruptly terminated  November 1st, 2018 ,( with less than 3 weeks notice) and we were informed that our PENSION was reduced for some and a majority of us would receive NOTHING at ALL!!! We are continuing our mission for what we EARNED and for our Promised  Benefit !!!! Unfortunately,  continuing on with the struggle requires funds, more than we can afford with our limited incomes!! Therefore,   we are initiating a  GoFundMe  page for media cost, potential legal fees and expenses we may incur as we fight for what is  JUST and MORAL... Although New York State and the Catholic Albany Diocese BOTH played a role in this financial disaster, neither has claimed responsibility and both have turned their backs on us, the healthcare workers who tirelessly took care of New York's poorest at the direction of the church!!
