2016 PVNF Summer Service Camp

Since 1996, Project Vietnam Foundation (PVNF) has been organizing medical missions to underserved areas of Vietnam. We are fundraising for our 2016 Summer Service Camp. For 2 weeks from June 19 through July 3, our team of health care professionals and 65 student volunteers will provide free medical, dental, and vision services to over 3000 disadvantaged patients in the Mekong Delta of south Vietnam. For many of the patients, the medical mission represents their only opportunity to obtain comprehensive care. In addition, we will undertake rehabilitation/construction projects at local orphanages and centers for handicapped children.
Our summer medical mission has 2 primary objectives:
1. To provide much needed health care services to those who are deprived of them due to financial or geographical reasons.
2. To mentor, nurture and train the next generation of medical humanitarians who will serve in Vietnam or anywhere around the world.
We could not have continued our work and helped tens of thousands of patients without the generous contribution of donors and dedicated involvement of volunteers. Please help us do even more! This summer, your donations will go directly towards medical supplies, prescription glasses for children ($10/each), reading glasses for adults ($2/each), wheelchairs for handicapped patients ($100/each), walkers for elderly patients ($20/each), and nutritional supplements for malnourished children.
