Space Studio Banbury - NASA Funding

We are a group of four students from Space Studio Banbury and we are fundraising for the trip of a lifetime to go to the USA just before the summer holiday. The main reason for the visit is to visit historically important places in the history of space exploration as well as those that are current such as The Kennedy space centre, Johnson space centre and Cape Canaveral. However, we will also be visiting schools in the local areas to help with activities and the children’s learning.

Over the course of the year, we have and will be volunteering at schools in order to teach younger students about the wonders of space, hosting events at our own school such as the very successful quiz night that happened in April.

We all decided to go to a school which is focused on Space and science for sixth form this has allowed us to gain a deeper understanding of the cosmos< We would like to say a special thank you to Space Studio Banbury and our sister school Banbury academy for giving us this amazing opportunity.
