St. Pete Beach Robotics Program
The St. Pete Beach robotics program is composed of one robotics team and several classes that encourage students to have fun while learning the principles of Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) and Computer Science by building robots. The students design, construct, and program the robots that accomplish robotic missions using fully autonomous robots.
The St. Pete Beach robotics program has classes that will teach students teamwork by paring the students in teams of two where they will work together to program and build fully autonomous robots.
The St. Pete Beach robotics program also has a junior robotics team that creates advanced robots to compete in local and national tournaments. The team has so far been to the Robofest World Championship three times and has gone against teams from 13 US States, Brazil, Canada, China, Columbia, Egypt, England, France, Ghana, Hong Kong, India, Korea, Mexico, Singapore, and South Africa.
We ask for your help by donating what you can and what you are comfortable to help the program buy robotics kits so they can expand to reach more students.
