“Ray’s Plate” - Short Film Budget

We are a BCIT student production team, aiming to apply hands-on skills and knowledge to create a compelling, impactful, and cinematic experience. We commit to producing high-quality works that expand our creative boundaries and aspire to ensure that every voice in the room is heard.

My name is Cavin Lee and I am the producer of Ray’s Plate, a student short film written by Raphael Cardenas and directed by Cyrus Alejandro, in association with the BCIT School of Business and Media.

Ray’s Plate tells the story of Ray, a skilled chef who must regain his confidence to cook when the original copy of his beloved grandmother’s prized recipe disappears to keep his food truck business and relationship afloat.

We are asking for financial support, aiming to have an estimated budget of around $4,000. This will be the team's first original short film and we thank you in advance for your time!
