Save Stacey!
Stacey has always had an auto-immune disease, but we didn’t know it until about 10 years ago. Her body has been killing its own liver, and doctors can’t cure it. Now, we are told there is no more avenues for her improvement- she is palliative.
There is one last hope to save her liver! We want to send her to the Integrative Medical Centre in New Mexico. There, she can receive treatment developed by Dr. Burt Berkson, whose protocols have saved many people’s lives when it did not seem possible. His first patients, in 1977, were terminally ill from ingesting poisonous mushrooms, but he had amazing success in regrowing their livers. The clinic he opened is now run by his son, Dr. Arthur Berkson, and it is well respected with a long wait list.

In the meantime, Stacey is receiving treatment, in Canada, from conventional physicians and a Naturopathic doctor. None of her alternative treatments, the ones based on Dr. Berkson’s protocol, are paid for by public healthcare and family members who are helping with finances are stretched to the limit, even though she is not receiving all the recommended treatments.
Stacey was her Mum’s “Sunshine Baby”. She is a beloved niece and sister, and has 2 sons, nieces and nephews and cousins who are all rooting for her. With additional funding, we could ramp up the treatment she receives in Canada and make sure she can get to the top of Dr. Berkson’s wait list. Maybe she wouldn’t even need to see Dr. Berkson!
