SL Knowledge Bowl to Nationals!

Last year, at the prompting of some of my special students, I started a Knowlege Bowl Team here at Soap Lake High School. In two short years they've worked themselves into a regional championship, a local tournament win over teams much larger than them, and two top-four finishes in state. As a cherry on top, our team was invited to the National Academic Championship tournament in Washington DC.  Soap Lake serves one of the poorest districts in Washington state so I'd like to take advantage of this opportunity to bring some of my brightest students to our nation's capitol.  Our ASB has agreed to pay 3/4 of the bill, but that leaves us with the task of raising around $1500 in two months.  The tournament runs from May 30-31
