SHP Lewisham Beach Day

My name is Steph, and I'm the Youth Opportunities Coordinator at Single Homeless Project within Lewisham. I work with young people aged 16-21 who have been made homeless for several reasons, such as family breakdowns, leaving the care system and safety issues.

I'm raising money to get our young people to the beach for a day of sun, sand and fun!

The young people we work with have endured a lot, and we believe they deserve to have wholesome days out like this one, where they get to be young people and not focus on the stresses of whatever might be going on in their lives. So as part of our Covid recovery plan, we are planning days out for our young people to get out again and enjoy what the world has to offer.

All funds will be used for travel, food and activities. We want to treat the young people to a day they won't forget, where all they have to think about is having a good time!
