New Rescue Van for Sean Casey Animal Rescue

Friends, we are focusing our Spring fundraising efforts on purchasing a new rescue van. Our current van has racked up almost 500,000 miles, helping us rescue thousands of animals for well over a decade, but it is now undrivable. From routine spay/neuter surgeries to life-saving critical care and through crisis response during trying times like Hurricane Sandy and the Covid pandemic this van was a lifeline!

We’ve done our best to keep it going with maintenance and repairs but age has caught up with it and it’s time for us to look toward our future with a new van. Please help us reach our goal of $45,000 to purchase a new rescue transport van, no donation is too small, every donation makes a difference.  Together we will make this happen! #teamscar

SEAN CASEY ANIMAL RESCUE IS A 501(c)(3) NON-PROFIT, NO-KILL SHELTER specializing in the rescue, rehabilitation and placement of dogs, cats, reptiles, birds and small mammals. Our rescue takes in over 2,000 animals per year, the most of any other private rescue in New York. We are one of very few rescues who take in the most difficult medical cases. We do it because they need life-saving medical care and they have nowhere else to go. Everyone deserves a second chance and our most vulnerable animals need us the most.
