Rita Roewert of RITA'S FOOD and LOUNGE, 13744 Rockland Rd, Lake Bluff, IL 60044, opened for business 21 yrs ago at the age of 63. Rita's is a small family owned restaurant with excellent food, service and a nostalgic atmosphere, where you are treated like family .
Rita continues to work at 84 yrs old, trying to survive the Covid 19 small business restrictions. In this current business climate, because of continued Covid restrictions, Ritas is at "high" risk for closing her doors. The funds would be used to pay the mortgage, utilities, food costs and payroll to keep the doors "Open for Business".
