Save Paramount Academy Of Music

Dear friends
I am reaching out to you today to request your support in helping save an extraordinary music teaching resource, the Paramount Academy of Music, which we have here right in Studio City. I was only recently introduced to this wonderful non-profit institute and its owners Rodger and Marisa. Their passion, commitment, and personal financial sacrifice have been awe inspiring. The Academy provides music education to all ages from my 20-month old daughter through teenager and adults. The 4400 square-foot facility on Ventura near Tujunga includes performing spaces, practice rooms, recording studios, among other spaces and services. Over the years, they have built the academy, taught hundreds of students, provided scholarships all while financing most the the institute themselves. Unfortunately, they can no longer rely on their own resources to personally finance the academy and will be forced to close their doors unless the community which they have served, are able to serve them.Through my decades of music involvement, I have rarely come across such an institute so dedicated to the cause of music education. I am committed to helping them find a pathway to financial sustainability, as they are almost there on their own with the continued growth in their student enrollment. After serving as a board member of both the Guitar Center Music Foundation and Fender Music Foundation, I have decided to join P.A.M. as part of their advisory committee. We have assembled a court group of wonderful individuals/business advisors. If you want to get involved further, go free to contact me at [email redacted].
