SASHI's Album Fund!

Hi Everyone!

Some of you might know me from your cruise with Celebrity, some of you met me in Bali and some of you have known me since way back when I was still jumping from stage to stage in my hometown of Jakarta, Indonesia. But, wherever I met you, one thing you all have in common is that you probably know me as "that girl with the glasses that sings and plays the guitar".



Yes, that's me. Sashi.

Here are some additional details…

I have played professionally for 15+ years - producing, headlining and collaborating on projects based in my hometown of Jakarta, on tour and on my island home of Bali - with my tiny acoustic guitar and my loop pedals. Most recently, I am (well, was…) enjoying my touring life with Celebrity Cruises International as their on-board Solo Musician.
I have performed on Celebrity Equinox from February to August of 2018/June to August 2019, Celebrity Eclipse from November of 2018 to May of 2019 and Celebrity Solstice from November of 2019 to January 2020. Currently, although its launch is understandably postponed, I am a part of the inaugural team of the brand new Celebrity Apex.



Little that you may know, other than playing cover songs in my individual style, I also write my own songs. My touring life has been amazing, but it has contributed to delaying my dream of making my own album. I have been writing songs consistently since I was 10 years old.

Fast forward to today: 4 months 'stuck' in my childhood home in Jakarta has actually given me space to fire up my creative juices, and this pandemic has forced me to sit still long enough to be with myself and my guitar. It is finally a perfect time to produce an original album!

Unfortunately, this pandemic has also affected me financially as it has so many people in the world. I need help now in filling up my tip jar so I can fund my album creation. Producing an album doesn't have to be expensive but it is also not free. I know this is a difficult time for everyone in the world, but if you have the ability and/or know anyone that may be interested in helping me put more music into the world, please don’t hesitate to share your support and my current project!

I am planning to make an EP (mini album) with 5 original songs ( in English) so that I can add it to international streaming services for everyone to hear. I am excited to see my work up there in the "cloud" and to finally have published my personal art for the world to access.

I am hoping to finish the album by the end of August 2020. When the cruise industry re-opens I will be ready to go sailing again, but this time I will bring along my original art to share with the whole world!
