I may lose my housing in the coming weeks after learning the home where I rent a room is being sold. I'm doing everything I can to avoid homelessness while managing serious health issues and searching for work.
My goal of $1,600 will help cover rent, food, transportation to medical appointments, medications, and basic living expenses while I continue working with housing programs and searching for employment. Even if you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser truly helps more than you know. Thank you for the support and kindness.
I've spent years working in ATM and technical service roles, and I'm actively working toward returning to the workforce as soon as possible.
Over the last several months, my life has changed in ways I never expected. I’ve been dealing with serious health challenges, financial hardship, and now the very real possibility of losing stable housing. After years of working hard in ATM and technical service work, my health declined to the point where I could no longer maintain steady employment. Since then, I’ve been fighting to keep my head above water while navigating disability appeals, medical appointments, rising costs, and uncertainty about where I’ll live next. I’m currently facing the possibility of homelessness after learning the home I’m renting a room in is being sold. While I’ve been given a short amount of time to stay, the future remains uncertain. I’m doing everything I can to move forward responsibly — applying for assistance, searching for housing resources, and stretching every dollar as far as possible. Living with diabetes, neuropathy, chronic pain, and other medical conditions has made daily life extremely difficult, but I’m still trying to stay hopeful and keep going. The funds raised through this fundraiser will help cover essential needs like housing costs, utilities, food, transportation to medical appointments, medications, and basic day-to-day survival while I work toward stability again. Even if someone cannot donate, sharing my story means more than I can fully express. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any support, encouragement, or kindness during one of the hardest periods of my life.
I'm actively applying for jobs, working with housing resources, and pursuing assistance programs. I'm not giving up—I'm simply asking for help getting through a difficult season.
As friends, family, and even kind strangers began reading my story, messages of encouragement started to arrive alongside donations of every size. Each contribution helps ease some of the pressure and reminds me that I am not facing these challenges by myself. This fundraiser has become more than just financial assistance—it is a source of hope during a difficult time, helping me move forward one day at a time while working toward greater stability and peace of mind.
