Ryan's Coming Home! Urgently need supplies & equip
Donation protected
We have fantastic news about Ryan! His progress has been truly remarkable, and we're thrilled to announce that he will be coming home in early July!
Over the past 4-6 weeks, Ryan has made incredible strides in his recovery. His surgeon at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut was so impressed with his progress that they want him to share his "miracle" story with others. It's a powerful reminder that even when medical books say it's impossible to walk again, with sheer determination, unwavering willpower, and the support of your prayers, it can be achieved. Ryan has shown immense dedication, attending rehabilitation six days a week despite the pain, and it has paid off.
Now, Ryan is able to walk, albeit slowly, with the assistance of a walker and under supervision. This is nothing short of miraculous!
Here is Logan and Ryan on Father's Day!

RYAN IS COMING HOME IN EARLY JULY! However, we still need to urgently raise an additional $5,000 for supplies and medical equipment before he comes home.
While this new chapter in Ryan's recovery brings great hope, it won't be without challenges. He will require specific medical equipment at home, such as a medical reclining chair and walkers, to navigate his surroundings and exercise equipment to maintain his progress.
Here's the truly astonishing part: Ryan no longer needs a wheelchair! This incredible outcome is a testament to the power of your prayers and Ryan's unwavering determination.
HOME MODIFICATIONS
To ensure Ryan can thrive in his new environment, modifications must be made to his and Cheryl's home. This includes adjusting the main entrance, adding handrails to existing stairways, and substantial bathroom modifications. Ryan's uncle, Rich, from Jacksonville, FL, has generously offered to donate his labor for these modifications. However, we still need assistance in purchasing the necessary materials.
OUTPATIENT REHAB
Insurance will cover a minimal amount of at-home rehabilitation (approximately 3-5 hours per week), Ryan has been working 20-25 hours per week at the rehabilitation hospital. This is a concern as we cannot let all of his hard work regress.
Ryan's doctor recommends 4-6 hours of rehabilitation per week at the hospital, which would likely involve 2 sessions per week for 1-2 months. This ongoing therapy is crucial for Ryan's continued progress. The additional cost including transportation, will be several thousand dollars per month.
We are in URGENT need of additional funds before Ryan comes home! If you can, please consider making a donation, no matter the size. Most importantly, we kindly request you to share Ryan's remarkable story on social media!
Please help us by sharing with your family and friends. We greatly appreciate any donations to help Ryan recover!
