Ryan Thomas Vignery road to recover
Donation protected
Friends and Family, my newest nephew, Ryan Thomas Vignery was born Friday, April 24, 2015 8:45 pm at OHSU. His estimated birth weight was 6 lbs 9 oz. no length yet. He was 34.5 weeks gestation. All of a sudden my sister in-law Shabri's belly got very big and at her last baby appt at 34.5 weeks she was measuring 44 weeks pregnant. After ultrasound they found Ryan had fluid in his lungs and other areas. They were sent to OHSU for an early delivery. He is a very sick baby but progressing and stable. His body is still filled with fluid and will take time for him to shed it off since he cannot move around. They now have a true weight of 10 lbs 11 oz. They are living at the Marriott 2 miles from hospital. No date of when they will get to go home but will be at least another month. Kevin went back to work this week and will be commuting back and forth once during the week and on weekends. Evan is doing well with all of this and loves to see his little brother for as long as a 2 year old can handle sitting in one place. Julie Moore (Mimi) and my Shabri's Aunt Catherine Hodges are helping them to allow Shabri time to heel. Which has been such a blessing. They have lots of people praying for them and our family. Thank you for the prayers and privacy as they wait to take Ryan home. They will give updates once in awhile. They have been staying above water but could use a little help. If anyone is able to a small donation would be greatly appreciated. I do not have a goal amount just figured anything would help them. Thank you all for all your kind words and thoughts as they fight through this tough time.
