Hi Everyone! We've started this page to help support Ryan D kick cancer in the rear. After being married only one year, these large medical costs are giving the couple a rocky start.
Ryan has had a successful starting surgery, but still faces the unknown of this malignant cancer.
Ryan is a loving husband, son, and only child. Although his family is smaller after losing his father to heart disease when he was 16, Ryan's family now includes Stephanie, her family, and many furry children. Ryan is a musician, cat fosterer, savvy Google advertiser, and loves working for, and helping others.
Stephanie is also a musician, a teacher, and an amazing wife. Still, times are difficult as she is working for two, caring for Ryan, running the house, and volunteering at the Michigan Humane Society.
Their insurance max out of pocket cost is $11,000. Because Ryan is being diagnosed so late in the year, this cost will start over if his treatment needs to continue into 2016.
On top of medical costs, this bout with cancer has made Ryan infertile and taken away Ryan and Stephanie's ability to have children. They will need IVF in order to conceive their own children in the future. If they choose to go with adoption, this is an even larger cost.
