My uncle Randy was diagnosed with Sarcoma Cancer in early spring of 2010. He underwent surgery to remove the cancer, but it came back in less than a year and it had spread to his lungs. He has been battling it ever since. My uncle Randy is one of the most selfless men I know. He was the person who inspired me to sign up for my first half marathon. The same day I completed my first half marathon, I watched him complete the full marathon and I knew from that point on that I would never stop running. He has been my inspiration to continue racing and to continue to push myself not only be a better runner, but a better person. 

Now it's my turn to inspire. Come out and support my Uncle Randy and his family at the very first Run for Randy 5K Fun Run/Walk on April 13^th at 9:30am at Como Lake in St. Paul.
