8.3x4x48 Run in Benefit of Hope Speaks

Want to join me in making a difference?

As many of you know, I am an avid runner with a deep love for ultrarunning. I run for grace, discipline, my family, and curiosity to see what my body can do. I love to find the threshold of my breaking point. So on March 5th I will be taking the David Goggins challenge —to run 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours straight.

But, I’ve decided to up the stakes and run 8.3 miles every 4 hours, totaling 100 miles to raise awareness and money for Hope Speaks. Hope Speaks is a nonprofit in Uganda started by my nephew and niece-in-law which raises voices of people with disabilities through speech therapy, advocacy, and social services. The community of Hope Speaks will use the money raised to provide therapy services to many families in need. My goal is to raise $30,000, all directly benefiting Hope Speaks.

Please consider supporting this amazing organization and contributing toward my fundraising goal. Ultrarunning might be the most selfish thing you can do—it’s all about you. Running for Hope Speaks gives me a chance to shift the focus.

Thank you for your support and contributions to this cause that mean so much to me!

Jonathan
