My 7 year old German Shepherd, Ruger was diagnosed with Pannus 2 years ago, it’s an immune mediated disease that attacks their cornea & will eventually lead to blindness. His current steroid & anti inflammatory medication is no longer working & the scarring is starting to take over his eyes. I’m doing this fundraiser in hopes that I can continue to provide him with his on going medications that will slow the progression of the disease along with funds to be able to get him the surgery he would need to remove the current scarring & pigmentation that is causing his vision problems. I have been referred to a specialist & will begin new treatment options. Unfortunately going through a nasty divorce & starting over has not helped my finances. Anything will help, also anyone with recommendations that maybe has experience with this disease.
