Help and prayers for Rudy Escobar and his family
Donation protected
Dear friends and community,
On November 20th, around 11:15 pm, Rudy was traveling to work on his motorcycle and he was hit by a car that left the scene. The police have yet to be identified. Devine intervention was in play and a doctor arrived on the scene and applied a tourniquet to his leg, which saved his life as he would have bled out. His bone was exposed, and the femoral artery was severed. This doctor is currently unidentified. Rudy was airlifted to UCLA in critical condition and has undergone several surgeries for his spine, pelvis, shoulder, and both legs, with possibly more to come. His insurance will only cover some of the cost.
Rudy is an amazing young man who has worked hard to be an honest, strong and a moral person. Rudy and Amanda are the first to step in when someone is in need. Rudy is a caregiver for the elderly who works three jobs and has just become a new father on November 1st (three weeks ago).
The love of his life Amanda is Rudy's rock. They have been together since they were 15 and 16 and have just welcomed into the world their beautiful baby daughter. The amount of financial support they need will be overwhelming, so any donation will be greatly appreciated for his recovery will be long and hard. Rudy is a fighter and regained consciousness upon arriving in the ER, he told the nurse "I don't want to die my daughter was just born." Please pray and donate what you can to this extraordinary young man and family.
Special thanks to; Lisa, Rowe, Kimberly, Melissa and Craig, Dee and Orion, Diane, all the Escobar siblings and many others for helping us through this difficult time.
Updates will come soon.
