Ruben was born on Christmas eve 2024 with enlarged ventracles and full body Dystonia. He has been in and out of hospital throughout his entire life with feeding issues and breathing issues. His ventricles have sadly kept expanding which is causing pressure on his brain and forcing him to stop breathing. everything has been tried and now we are at a stage where nothing more can be done and he is now on end of life care.

I am creating this fundraiser to help my brother and his girlfriend to not have to struggle with the cost of there little mans funeral and all the costs of being in hospital including all the travel to and from different hospitals he has been in and the living costs associated with that. This includes covering the loss of earnings whilst they both can't work as they are supporting Ruben. They are only a young couple and there strength and bravery throughout has been incredible. The way they have supported Ruben and everything he has been through has just been amazing. They are 2 very incredible people who deserve a little bit of help in this hugely difficult time. We don't know how long Ruben does have left but we know it isn't long. He is having his medications upped everyday to try and keep him comfortable but that is all that can now be done. He has been fighting his illnesses for so long and has been through so much in his short life that he just can't fight it anymore. He's one strong little boy and deserves all the kindness and help he can get.
