As you might remember, last year a good friend and I were going to row from Portland to Scotland on a static rower to raise money for the David Ellis Charity.

For one reason or another the row never happened.

We raised over £600 which was donated to the charity but…I need to do something to earn that money (and more if possible)!

I intend to row solo and continuously the distance of two and a half times across the English Channel (100,000 metres), only stopping to eat, drink and maybe stretch.

This should take me in the region of 8 hours and is again to raise money for the David Ellis Charity, who help our veterans that may have fallen on hard times, have mental health issues or suffering from PTSD.

The event will be held at The Bee Hive cafe at Victoria Square from 10am on Saturday 5th August.

I will have buckets next to me if you have any spare pennies to donate and any money collected from now will be added to the total already raised.
