Background Information
Ross Mason has a C-6 complete spinal cord injury, which means he should never have function or sensation below his collarbones again for the rest of his life. As a result of a new cutting-edge clinical trial, Ross has the opportunity to engage in a unique stem cell protocol that has resulted in 75% of patients with complete spinal cord injury (no function or sensation below the break) walking again for the first time in history. However, to achieve these results, he must first undergo an intensive therapy regimen. The therapy is designed to reawaken his brain and neural pathways to re-recognize and control his bodily functions, enabling his brain to regain control of his muscle-motor responses and prepare his body to walk again.

Under the guidance of Dr. Jerome Lubbe, a board-certified functional neurologist, Ross is scheduled to undergo an intensive program of 60+ in-clinic sessions and home therapy that will cost $30,000.

Help Ross Walk Again
We all know givers in our lives. But few of us, when faced with the most difficult circumstances imaginable would continue to give in extraordinary and extravagant ways. Ross Mason is just that person.

Even after a bicycling accident left him a quadriplegic, he still insists that it’s one of the best things that ever happened to him simply because of what he has gained: The truth that no matter our circumstances, we can still make a difference in this world by helping others.

Ross doesn’t allow his physical condition to define him. When people meet Ross, he always asks them, “What can I do to help you?” His encouragement, experience in problem-solving, gracious introductions and creative strategies to help others fill every room he enters.

This man models giving and generosity to so many people and organizations. Now it’s our time to help him make the dream of walking again a reality. Whether or not you know him personally, this is an opportunity to participate in a grand act of hope.

How You Can Help
Ross’ friends and family have started this GoFundMe page to support his therapy costs. Please join me in giving Ross our prayers, words of encouragement and support. Consider donating to his recovery. Every donation helps – even $5.00. This is one man’s journey to walk again, yet it paves a way for others. Ross’ organization HINRI is planning to open a rehab center to help others walk again using the lessons learned from his recovery.

Also, please help us spread the word by forwarding Ross’ story to your friends on social media. We also want to get the word out to people like Ross who are seeking treatment options. Thank you for your support!
