In Loving Memory of Rosalina Rivera Garcia

In Loving Memory of Rosalina Rivera Garcia
October 27, 1927 – July 27, 2025

Rosalina Rivera Garcia passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at the age of 97. Though we had time to prepare for this moment, it still hurts to lose such a presence and guiding matriarch of our family. She lived a long, beautiful life — and we’re deeply grateful to have been part of it.

She was the second of five children and, over the years, became the anchor of five generations. She married the love of her life in 1945, and together they built a legacy rooted in family, faith, and devotion. Whether you knew her as Lulee, Mamita, or Cita, she had a way of making everyone feel safe and deeply loved.

Rosalina raised not only her four children, but also cared for her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even great-great-grandchildren. She cooked, cleaned, did laundry, and lovingly watched over five generations of children with unwavering strength and grace. Her steady presence and the comforting aroma of her kitchen created a sense of home for generations.

As we carry our grief, we also hold joy. We honor Rosalina by remembering her stories, her laughter, her prayers, and of course, her sharp sense of humor and perfectly timed jokes. Her legacy lives on in the love she poured into every generation that followed her.

About This Fundraiser

This GoFundMe was created to help cover a portion of burial costs that are not covered by other means.

Every contribution—no matter the amount—helps us give Rosalina the dignified, love-filled farewell she deserves. If there is excess after burial arrangements are complete, the remaining amount will go toward her tombstone.

If you'd like to share condolences or memories of Rosalina, we welcome them here or through the funeral home's online tribute page. For those who feel called to do so, the funeral home also offers options to send flowers or plant a tree in her memory.

Thank you for holding us in your thoughts, for loving her with us, and for supporting our family during this time of mourning and remembrance.

May she rest in eternal peace, finally reunited with those who went before her.

We love you, always and forever.
