I am a third year Communications Major at St. John’s University in Queens,NY.
I was fortunate enough to be selected as an Intern at Emmis Communications and Atlantic Records in New York City. After much debate, I decided to choose Atlantic Records and I am very excited about this opportunity. I will have the chance to say I interned at Viacom & then Atlantic Records.
Unfortunately this opportunity is at risk because I must register the internship as a summer class, which will cost me roughly $4,500. Summer Internships at St. John's University are not covered by financial aid.
These internships are un-paid, but the knowledge and connections I will establish are worth every penny and every second spent.
