After surgeries and subsequent layoffs, we are faced with serious medical expenses.  An above-the-knee right leg amputation at 36 years old has dramatically altered our lives.  

We need $48,000 for a prosthetic leg and $2,000 for maintenance of the prosthetic.  This will allow Robert to do some basic things he has not been able to do for the last few years like walk without crutches, work in the church like he used to, and play with our neices and nephews.
