To all my friends and family,as many of you know I've had many complications from a twelve year old "hip replacement " gone bad four months ago!
So I am asking for help?
After surviving a nearly fatal sepsis blood infection, kidney failure, pneumonia, four surgeries and three weeks in a coma I'm finally on the mend. Seven hours in the OR with Dr. Ball and his team at UCSD, he was able to rebuild my hip and save my life!
With many precautions I'm allowed to go home...I am not allowed to bear weight on this leg for three months, so I will be using a walker and wheelchair until I get permission to go forward with a somewhat normal life.
With that being said I will need 24/7  home health care to assist with the second half of my recovery, physical therapy, errands, doctors appointments,, and just general assistants with everyday needs.
My health insurance does not cover home health care other than a visit from a physical therapist twice a week.
I'm asking for help with paying for home assistance.
i am praying that my friends and family can help in my time of need? Any amount that you can donate to me will be appreciated from the bottom of my heart!
