In Loving Memory Of Roberto Reyes

Donation protected
Dear friends and families,

It is with a heavy heart that we have to share with you some sad news regarding one of our great parents. Last night our dear Roberto Reyes have passed away at the hospital.

Roberto is survived by his wife Tracey Reyes, his children Dylan;14, Mason;11, and Nolan; 4, currently attending in our PS4 classrooms

This is another moment in life where our faith and strength are being tested and where our support and coherence as a community can make a significant difference and provide great consolation.

Roberto Reyes; also known as Coach Roberto, was diagnosed in 2015 with stage IV lung cancer. although he never smoked. Initially he was expected to not survive a few months, but through God’s miraculous hands, we were blessed to have him around for a couple years post diagnosis. And many of us saw him active in the wrestling arena cheering for our children, coaching them, and working relentlessly to defy that disease. After what seemed like a successful battle, lately, his health seemed to go through sudden episodes of deterioration. And yesterday was the end of his battle, as his heart gave in at last and we lost him to cardiac failure.

I have personally known Roberto for several years now in different capacities; as a friend, a client, a caregiver for his beautiful boys, and as a coach for both of my children. I have seen his dedication to our children and how he was able to inspire many of them as a coach, whether in wrestling or baseball. I have known Roberto also as the Family Man and as a Great Father who spares no effort in making sure his wife and his kids are safe, happy, and well taken care of.

I humbly urge every one of our families and friends to keep Roberto and his family in your thoughts and prayers. And we will keep you posted once we have more details on the funeral and  the wake arrangements.

For now, we will work with other family friends and organizations to organize the efforts to provide our condolences and support Tracey and the Reyes children. I would also like to invite you all to support the Reyes families during these very difficult times, by make a donation through GoFundMe (you may click here for support: gofundme.com/ RobertoReyesFamily

We will provide a link shortly for meal train for the family and will update you with more information once the information becomes available.

It is very sad to say goodbye to a great Father on Father’s day.

My Consolation is he met his Heavenly Father and I am certain that now he is in a place with no pain or tears, for his Heavenly father. ‘.. will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” (Revelation 21:4)

I have always been humbled by your support and prayers.

Yours truly,
