In loving memory of Robert Castillo

Sadly, we have lost a great man. Robert Castillo was a great husband, a father, grandpa, uncle and a dear friend too many. Robert Castillo suddenly and tragically died on Monday morning, March 12, 2018.
Robert and Lucille were starting off their Monday morning at home just like any other Monday. Robert and Lucille were discussing the horrific traffic Lucille had to endure meanwhile taking both their grandsons to school that morning when Robert unexpectedly was stricken with a fatal heart attack. Aggressive efforts to revive him were unsuccessful.
We all know Robert was one of the happiest most honest and humble people anyone could have ever know. He was always laughing and joking with everyone. Everyone that came into contact with him instantly enjoyed his presence. He was always ready to crack a joke or sting someone with his off the wall remarks. Robert was a one-in-a-million kind of person. He worked his entire life to provide for his family. Robert in one way or another touched many people by always lending a hand, a mechanic, or a plumber in need.
Thankfully, Robert has left us all with fond memories. But tragically, he also left behind his family to grieve and somehow go forward. He and his wife Lucille were soul mates, always together. Lucille and their 3 children, Joline, Marylou and Bobby, are faced with this terrible loss and must somehow continue living without his presence.
How can we help? What can we do in this terrible time in the loss of the “leader-of-the-pack”?
We can all share in taking food, drinks, love and support to the families home. But the Castillo family will be faced with many hard decisions, both immediate and long term. It’s almost unbearable to make such decisions while suffering this loss. There will be immediate financial demands on the family as financial demands have already started. We can help.
