As many of you know, we lost our dear Ricardo “Rick/Ricky” “Monty” Miramontes on July 3, 2020. Rick leaves behind a beautiful son, his clone, RJ. Rick was an incredible father to RJ. He loved to play, teach RJ anything and everything, the way he interacted with RJ made me so proud of Rick, because I KNEW Rick would make an amazing father, and he proved that. He just had evil demons he was fighting and sometimes, we just get TIRED.
Rick is a Marine veteran who took his duty seriously. He was a lover of traveling and adventure, so the military was most definitely a great career to get into. Rick has so many brothers and sisters thanks to the military, and we know he loved each and every one of you. He’s served in Afghanistan and we have always been so proud of Rick for serving our country.
Rick was always the life of the party, even if he didn’t know anyone there or knew very few people. You’d leave that party as Rick’s friend if you wanted to be.
Rick loved to joke, laugh and make others laugh. He could do it so effortlessly. His witty and dark humor made him stand out amongst others. His intelligence and thought processes were off the charts. If anyone needed sound advice or a good laugh as a pick-me-up, Rick was your guy.
Rick was a lover of adventure, nature, firearms, etc. He was a manly man that’s for sure, but he also had this sweet, teddy bear-like quality that just made him so lovable. Rick gave the BEST HUGS. I know we will miss his hugs the most. Well, and his smile and laugh as well.
