In April 2023, our friend Richard Pay was diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma.

Rich's wife Christine is my wife Patti's business partner and also our dear friend. Rich is one of the kindest, most gentle souls you will ever meet. He's always willing to lend a helping hand in support of another.

Rich is originally from Australia and he and Christine were brought together by God's divine timing when they met in church in 2009 when Christine was in bible college.

The Lord helped them find true love and happiness later in life and they were married on 10/15/2011 and now make Roswell, GA their home. They are each other's best friends and partners in everything they do. Together their blended family is located in 3 countries and includes 6 children ages 17 to 35 and 2 grandchildren ages 1 and 10.

In April, Rich was experiencing some memory issues which became progressively worse over a very short period. This included forgetting basic things from one room to the next and ultimately not knowing where he was or where he is going. This prompted them to seek medical intervention, which led to the discovery of the tumor which is located on his brain stem between the two hemispheres of his brain.

Doctors have biopsied the tumor and confirmed the Stage 4 Glioblastoma diagnosis. This diagnosis shows that the tumor is aggressive. It also comes with the difficult reality that time is of the essence to start treatment as soon as possible. This will include but not be limited to radiation, chemotherapy and surgery. This course of action will give Rich the best chance to do everything possible to help him win his battle.

Rich is an independent business owner and is currently unable to work due to his loss of basic memory functions as the tumor is pressing on that specific area of his brain. Rich will often ask Christine; "Why are we going to the doctor?" because he simply can't remember his situation. Christine is also taking this valuable time to help Rich and support him in every way she can physically, emotionally and spiritually. Rich and Christine know that we serve a powerful God and know that miracles do happen.

Rich and Christine, along with family and friends, are in prayerful pursuit of the Lord's Peace, Healing and Glory.

Rich and Christine need your help to cover immediate medical insurance deductible costs of 9K dollars for their new insurance plan which went into effect on April 1st.

This cost is required to start the treatment. In addition, they need your help with various expenses for additional medical care, prescriptions, daily living, memory care, and travel as Rich goes through treatment.
