Richie's Road to Recovery

My name is Carolyn, a close family friend, and I am organizing this GoFundMe to support Richie Allen during his recovery.

As many of you know, Richie suffered a severe hemorrhagic hypertension stroke paralyzing the right side of his body on May 28th. Richie's 18-year-old son, Rocco, found him on the ground after 12 hours. This entire family was already struggling to navigate life after his sweet grandson Booker's sudden and tragic death on May 16th.

He has been transferred to On with Life in Ankeny to continue a long and arduous fight to recover his physical and mental capabilities so he can return to his family and life. He's working so hard in all his daily therapies and getting good movement back in his leg but the road to recovery & home is far from over for the Allen family.

The entire Allen clan are people who would give the shirts off their own backs to anyone in need, so let's show them some love at this time. Richie's medical bills will be rolling in as well as his regular monthly obligations that his kids are working to keep intact. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
