Afghan refugee worked for the USA Armed Forces when living in Kabul. She was targeted by the Taliban when they arrived. She and her husband escaped to Pakistan until they were given asylum status and a visa to come to the U.S. RUN helped secure employment and housing. RUN subsequently helped reunite them with their baby daughter, who was held in Pakistan while the US embassy arranged for her status. USCIS has now granted her family (parents and 3 sisters) permission to apply for visas and asylum to come to the U.S.
By contributing to this cause, you will join RUN in honoring those who were willing to serve with our U.S. Forces while in Afghanistan. You will help reunite a family through the rescue of those remaining in Afghanistan to find freedom from the Taliban.
Funds are needed for visas, travel, and resettlement. Help us reach a Freedom Fund goal of $20,00.
