They didn’t care how I looked or that I didn’t have a pedigree. They showed me I wasn’t disposable and that I am unconditionally loved. They brought back the sparkle in my eyes and the shine of my coat. They restored my soul so my tail would once wag again. They both took a chance on me to see what I would become. They gave me a place to call home, a family to call my own, something I never had before. They did what no one else would and rescued me and they made a promise to me that they wouldn’t let anyone ever hurt me again...
