salons in the neighborhood. An immigrant
from Vietnam, Joy as she is aptly known,
set up shop in Adams Morgan over 20
Through the years she has brought jobs to members of the community and her own
Joy’s not only offers nail services but
through the years has added head to toe
body waxing, hair stylists, facials, lashes
More than a salon, Joy's Spa is a heartbeat of the neighborhood. All ages, races,
leanings and nationalities gather as a
family, not just to look good but to feel
good. The ladies' love and care in providing service extends to the love and care they
give to our community. We leave uplifted
after every visit.
Their service to our community, is high-touch and cannot be replaced by Hi-Tech or
The recent surge in coronavirus cases through out the DMV (and US) would put the
health and well being of Joys staff, their
family’s, and patrons at risk.
On March 17th 2020 Joys sadly shut their doors. Joys made this decision before DC made all non-essential businesses
With the shutdown, Joys and their staff are left with no income or means to take care
of themselves or loved ones.
Hoping whats donated through go
fund me, and people all over will help with
rental obligations, utilities and provide
funds to help their staff.
