Help Reta’s Recovery: Donate Towards Her $13,500 Surgery Bill or Help Us Get a Skims Collab!

In January, I adopted Reta from Harley's Dream. She was recovering from a major ovarian tumor surgery, had a severe heart murmur, and was battling alopecia, which left her with little hair. Despite all of that, I instantly fell in love with this little “problem child” and added her to my dog family.

Fast forward to March — Reta decided to get into some dirty laundry and eat A LOT of underwear. I was hoping she’d throw it up, but after 24 hours of vomiting, I knew we needed help. A trip to urgent care led to immediate surgery to remove the “foreign body” from her intestines.

It was a difficult surgery, but Reta is a fighter and pulled through. Unfortunately, the cost of her surgery was a staggering $13,500.

My first thought was to reach out to Kim Kardashian (since it was Skims underwear she swallowed), but no response yet...

So, here I am, humbly asking for your help. Please consider donating to Reta’s recovery, or share this post so maybe Kim will see it and come through with a solution (like an edible underwear line — because, as Reta’s mom, I just can’t afford to buy Skims anymore unless they’re digestible).
