Please support the family of Jackie Belen, RIP
In memory of Jackie Belen, beloved mother, wife, sister, daughter, cousin, and friend who recently passed away. Jackie leaves behind a four year old son, Sami, and her husband, Adnane Tarmil. Jackie was a dear friend and community leader with Cal State Long Beach and the Festival of Philippine Arts & Culture. She went on to obtain her Masters in Social Work. She worked at Kaiser Permanente.
Adnane says that the best part of Jackie was that she was loving, caring and that she took care of so many people.
Jackie loved and cared for people! She was truly a compassionate and supportive person. There for her family, her friends, and her clients.
Jackie’s friends shared:
“I remember one evening when some of us were hanging out at Grand Park and Jackie got a call from the corrections center, where she was employed at the time, because a client was in crisis. She left us and sat in her car to be on her phone to make sure everything was being done to help that person.”
“Jackie was not only helping the masses at large, she helped heal every single person she came across, from over 400 volunteers over the years to the close friends she met along the way to family. Jackie was a modern day healer.”
All donations will go to support Sami and Adnane, who moved from his home in Morocco to be with Jackie in Long Beach just five years ago. Adnane has no other family here besides Jackie and will be raising Sami alone.
"Sami stayed home with Jackie while she was sick these last three years. She was my everything. We lost our heart."
Please share this donation link to all who loved Jackie so we can help her young son and partner during this tough time.
