Did you know that there are over half a million child slaves in Haiti?
Respire Haiti was founded in 2011 after seeing the tragedy of these "restaveks" (child slaves) in Gressier, Haiti and the fact that they were not in school. Respire Haiti Christian School started with 97 kids in an old church.
Four years later, based solely off of donations, we have built a beautiful school, a safe sanctuary for these children to be educated, to eat, and to learn about God.
Today, over 500 children attend Respire Haiti Christian School. Now, we need your help! Respire Haiti Christian School needs to build 6 more classrooms to allow our children to keep learning and growing! Help us continue to provide a safe sanctuary for these children!
