John Tomlinson Heberts Burial Fund

The Hebert Family needs your help and support at this time. My beloved brother John passed away December 20th, 2014 from aspirating while sleeping. He died in our home and no mater how we tried and wished, he was already gone when we got to him. We, as a family, were and are devastated beyond comprehension.  Johns death; however, was nowhere near as impactful as his life. John was a self proclaimed ratsafarian and in his mind, it was his job to embody and spread the love and light of what he knew was the Holy Spirit. John stood at a towering 6'7" tall and wore it so very gently. Everyone that he came across left with the impression that he was the lightest, gentlest, kindest spirit they had known. He WAS that way. He loved to laugh at everything he felt was gigle worhty. He was a star athlete in school and was destined for the pros but soon was diagnosed with schizophrenia and started a very intense battle that would affect the entire family for the next 13 years. He turned his face to the sky everyday to yell "THANK YOU JESUS FOR MY LIFE! ISNT IT BEAUTIFUL??" Now we as a family (very low income family) need some help to settle Johnny boy's final respects. We have gotten close to enough money a few times but unfortunately we had to choose between our home, and his cremation. We do not want to miss a chance again to give John the final respects he deserves. Please, anything helps.
