We have literally lost everything…

We are Nehal and Kanaan Ghandour, siblings from Gaza trying to rebuild our destroyed home after the Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip.

(Nehal Ghandour)
Before the war, we lived in a warm home with our Mom and Dad. But in the blink of an eye our lives changed entirely. Our home was destroyed by intense Israeli bombardment. We were living on the eighth floor of an apartment complex that was quickly reduced to rubble and is now uninhabitable.

(Remains of our house in Gaza)
Israel's aggression has shattered all our memories, dreams and life in Gaza.
We are now homeless. We have been displaced over 5 times since the Israeli war began because there is no safe place to shelter within the Gaza Strip. We have lived in UN tents under harsh, sub-human conditions.

(Kanaan Ghandour)
We are desperately trying to survive daily life inside Gaza in order to rebuild our destroyed home, lives and hopes. This war has already costed us everything.
At the moment we are in urgent need of help. We feel as though the world has forgotten us. Please answer our appeal!
The war has affected us to to the core, impacting our minds, souls, and bodies. We are all traumatized and cannot bear these new living conditions, lacking a home, clean water, electricity and zero medical attention. The situation is dire and we cannot endure it much longer.
Both our parents. are diabetic and have gone months without treatment. My mom suffers from exhaustion and my dad has severe arthritis which has greatly limited his mobility. He is also suffering from diabetic coma and so will need to travel to undergo surgery.
So now you know, we are fighting to stay alive, rebuild our home and save our parents' health.

(Our destroyed home on the eighth floor)
Kanaan and I are the only ones tending to our parents' needs, but without any resources since neither of us have jobs. Gaza is in ruins and prospects for work are non existent, since our very workplaces and institutions have been reduced to rubble.
Please help us recover our hope after so many trials and devastation. We don't know what lies ahead, but we are praying for a miracle.
Also, please help us by sharing this campaign with friends and family. May God bless you for any donation you can afford to give, even if it were a small amount. You will be making a big difference for us!
Thank you for your time reading our story..
