Help Support Mr. William Holden & a Small Club SB20 Fleet ⛵️

Hi, I’m Steven Knight, Skipper of the SB20 Snollygoster.

This year, our Club SB20 fleet is aiming high — we’re preparing to compete in Cowes Week 2025, one of the most iconic regattas in the world. We have five SB20 boats planning to compete, one of which is a Youth Team and all gearing up to represent our club, all of which are privately funded — and a huge part of that support comes from one man: Mr. William Holden.

William’s passion for sailing and his commitment to getting people out on the water has been the driving force behind the growth of our small, social SB20 fleet. Thanks to him, many of us have had the opportunity to learn, race, and be part of something truly special.

His boats — Snollygoster, Fluttergrub, and Huffler — are currently being prepared for racing, but they still require some essential upgrades and equipment to be race-ready for Cowes Week.

This GoFundMe is our chance to give back.

We’re reaching out to friends, family, fellow sailors, and our local community to help support the man who has done so much for all of us. Every donation will go directly toward these boats — from repairs and running rigging to finding better 2nd hand sails.
