Remembering Jaxson
Donation protected
On February 4th, 2024, one of my best friend’s and neighbour, Megan, went through something no parent should ever have to endure. She lost her precious 8 year old boy Jaxson. No parent should have to see the day where they bury their child. It’s supposed to be the opposite.
What started 4 days prior as fever, nausea and diarrhea - typical symptoms all of our children and us go through - took a turn for the worse and became life threatening. He was air lifted to Sick Kids in Toronto, and diagnosed with Strep A virus. They say every child reacts differently to the virus, and devastatingly, Jaxson was one of the rare cases where such a common virus, took his poor little life. Jaxson’s virus turned septic and there was nothing the doctor’s could do. He was only 8 years old.
I am reaching out to my friends and family, Megan’s loved ones and the community to make donations to help her financially during this time. Please consider donating for any costs she may incur as well as to help her be able to take the proper time off work that she needs during this difficult time.
Thank you to anyone reading this for taking the time to sympathise and learn about the tragic loss of Jaxon Elvis Robert Simpson. Thank you for keeping Megan in your thoughts and thank you to anyone who is able to contribute to this fundraiser and to help a grieving mother.
Rip beautiful boy. Spread your wings and look after Mommy from up there buddy. I’ll do my best to look after her down here for you. Xo
God Bless.
