WOW....where to begin...
This has been a tough year for all of us, but not as tough as it's been for Jacek & Tammy Kuklinski. Over the summer Tammy finally went to the Dr's as she hadn't been feeling well for quite some time. She was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma. There is a large mass in her chest, and the cancer has spread to both lungs and her liver. At the time of launching this campaign they just found 2 more large spots of lymphoma in her neck.
Jack has taken a leave of absence from work to not only take care of Tammy, but the children also. Jacek Jr. & Noella are in elementary school and are on the hybrid plan, so between taking care of the house, and running Tammy back and forth to hospital appointments, Jack has also been homeschooling the children!
They're exhausted, and struggling to keep up with all the co-pays, as with Jacks leave of absence he took a 50% reduction in pay, and he's expecting to be out for at least 6 months. What's especially tough on Tammy is that she cannot have anyone in the treatment room with her due to covid restrictions, and her treatment is so often and invasive that she's sometimes there for 4-6 hours at a time.
You will never meet a more humble family as this, so I'm asking for your help to lift their burden and allow Tammy to move forward, without worrying about the daily pressure on her family! Many people have posted on Tammy's facebook page "call me if you need anything" but she wont, she's too proud. So I'm asking for your help!
My name is Trish Brunner, Tammy's oldest son Tylor is my daughter Molly's boyfriend. Molly & Tylor are at Plymouth State University together as freshman, Tylor is in the criminal justice program, and Molly in nursing. Tammy was unable to see Tylor move into college, and that's just one of many special times that she has missed out on this year!
