About “Reds Games For Kids”:

In the off-season of 2[phone redacted] a group of dedicated Reds fans known as the “Power Stack Pack”  (aka the PSP) decided they wanted to give back to the Reds Community.  They decided to share their love of baseball and the Cincinnati Reds with children whom may never otherwise get to experience the joy of a day at the ballpark.  A fundraiser was started, and in the 2014 baseball season, the Power Stack Pack hosted the first ever “Reds Games for Kids” event.  Through the fundraiser, which primarily received donations from the members of the Power Stack Pack themselves, the entire Children’s Home of Cincinnati (a total of 85 tickets) was able to attend a Reds game.  The PSP members met the Children at the front entrance, handing out bags of goodies and water for the kids to eat and drink at the game.  Before the game the PSP members taught the kids cheers, talked to the kids about their favorite players, and let the kids have fun at the Reds Fan Zone.  During the game a steady chant of “Let’s Go Reds!” could be heard from their section.  The kids also enjoyed visiting the famous “Power Stacks” where the Power Stack Pack members asked their familiar section usher to turn on the overhead misters, and the kids had a great time playing in the water before returning to their seats.  The kids were very grateful, leaving the Power Stack Pack members with many hand drawn “Thank You” cards.  It was an unforgettable experience for both the kids and the adults who attended, and it is something the Power Stack Pack hopes to continue for years to come.  There are simply too many photos to post on this summary, so please check out the link below to see last year's Reds Games For Kids event!  https://www.dropbox.com/sh/tkm61fnm2uds0s3/AAD7gAuQjnqe3wqr63RUrjx3a?dl=0
