Redborne Upper School DT visors for key workers
Donation protected
Redborne Upper School Technology Department have given away over 5000 visors and we are planning to keep going as long as there is demand, as long as we have materials and as long as our machinery holds up. We are absolutely sure that giving these visors away is the right thing to do as it makes sure that they are accessible to everyone and that anyone can have this protection.
However, there are costs involved and we are looking for a way to try and meet some of these. The school has so far been paying for materials and for machinery and we have had some very useful donations of materials that have helped a lot. The cost of making these visors is less than £1 per visor but when we are making thousands this cost mounts up.
If you feel that you would like to contribute whether you have had some visors off us or not - please feel free to do so. Please note that there is absolutely no requirement to donate if you have received visors - please do not feel guilty about this!
We are planning to use the money raised to buy materials and to repair/replace machinery used to make visors.
