My name is Theo (He/Him). I am sharing my story as part of my fundraiser.

This journey has been about finding myself and finally feeling at home in my own body. On April 7th, 2025, I reached a major milestone in that journey when I had my top surgery as part of my gender affirming process. This surgery has been my biggest goal in a long gender affirming journey, and it means more to me than I can easily put into words.

The surgery went successfully, and I am recovering quickly.

However, nerve reinnervation, which is an essential part of restoring sensation, came with an additional cost of $11,000 on top of the mastectomy itself. This fund is intended to cover the cost of that procedure as well as the supplies needed for scar care.

To share how I arrived here:

On November 30th, 2023, I began my gender affirming journey by knocking on the door, figuratively, as it was over emails, of a gender affirming clinic. I was scheduled to meet the doctor for a TRT consult.

On December 19th, 2023, I met the doctor and had blood tests done to see if my body was in a suitable condition for TRT.

On January 3rd, 2024, ALL CLEAR, WE ARE A GO! I received my first prescription for T.

On January 25th, 2024, I started my TRT.

After a year of being on T, I finally took the next step in my journey.

On April 7th, 2025, I had my top surgery.
